Hi everyone, 

We started Aistear in our class yesterday. Aistear is all about learning through play. Our theme for this week is 'The Home'. We have four different stations every day and every group gets a turn of each station by the end of the week.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We have now finished our first full week of Junior Infants, and what a great week it has been! We are pleased to say that the children have all settled in very well, and are getting used to their new routines. As part of the Junior Infants S.E.S.E. (History, Geography, Science) and S.P.H.E. (Social, Personal and Health Education) curriculums, we will be covering the themes of Myself and My Family. Although official homework won’t start for another two weeks, we have a little project we would like you to complete with your child this week. In your child’s schoolbag is a ‘History of Me’ worksheet. We would be very grateful if you could sit down with your child this week for 15 minutes and discuss the questions with them. Hi Everyone, 

Welcome to our class blog.

All of the children have settled in really well here in Room 4, well done to all the boys and girls!

We have had so much fun in our first week of Junior Infants and I am really enjoying getting to know everybody. 

From now on in the mornings and afternoons we will be lining up outside. (in the basketball court in the morning and outside our classroom in the afternoons)

If you have a lunch form at home please send it into school as soon as possible. 

We will be starting our longer days on Wednesday 13th September. School will finish @ 1.20 from then on. 

Keep an eye on the blog for pictures, information, homework and other updates. 

I am looking forward to a great year with this wonderful class.
