Homework

Homework – 23rd - 27th October Monday: ‘p ’ worksheet  1.       Practice the letter formation for ‘p’ using the short chant to help. Please form good habits early by using the correct pencil grip. Thanks! 2.       Colour the picture. 3.       Listen to and sing the Jolly Phonics ‘p’ song we learnt in school today. (Link below.) No Homework

Hi everyone,  The children will not have any homework this week.  We will be back to normal with homework on Monday 23rd October.  Have a nice day! Becky :-) 

HOMEWORK

Homework – Week 9th - 13th October  *** We please ask that you follow this homework plan night by night and do not skip ahead/ swap activites for different nights. In school this week we will cover ‘s’ on Monday and Tuesday and ‘a’ on Wednesday and Thursday. Our First Assembly

This morning we went to our first Friday morning assembly. Everybody did super listening and sitting, well done! Congratulations to Ava who was our Student of the Week.

Aistear

We learned a new poem this week called "The School Bus". When we knew how to say the poem, we made our own school bus and did the actions. Have a look! Aistear At the construction table we built schools and classrooms.  We used air dough to make some school lunches. In the role play area we were pretending to be different people in our school.  The Secretary  The children  The secretary, parents and children playing in the yard.  We were really creative at the art table. We designed and decorated lovely school bags. We also did some finger painting. 

Aistear & Trip to the Playground

We started a new topic in Aistear today, "School". Here are some pictures of us at work! We went on a trip to the playground yesterday and on the way we had a look at how the leaves on the trees are changing because it is Autumn. We saw orange, brown, yellow and red on the leaves.
