Becky's Junior Infants

Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed St. Patrick's Day. We have no homework this week. We are going on an SESE (Social, Environmental and Scientific Education) trip to Malahide Park on Thursday. We will be leaving the school at 9am and returning at 11.30am. Please ensure your child is wearing appropriate footwear and has a rain jacket. The children will bring their lunches for a picnic. The cost of the trip is €3 per child to cover the cost of the bus. Please bring in the €3 before Thursday. If you haven't already done so, please sign up to the MessageCue app as important information is posted here regularly. We are looking for some parents to come on the trip to Malahide with us. Homework 12th - 16th March Hi everyone, Our homework is slightly different this week. We have covered all of our single sounds so we are now going to revise them and focus on the letter formations. There are 4 activities included in the homework this week. Try to do one activity each night and also revise tricky words. 1. Tricky words worksheet 2. CVC Words worksheet 3./4. Just Handwriting Book: Week 1 = letters 'a' and 'c' (one per night) We are focusing on letter size over the next few weeks. There are 3 letter sizes; small, tall and fall.
