Becky's Junior Infants

Hi Everyone,  This is a blending week for homework.  There are 5 worksheets in the homework folders. (2 worksheets for Monday, 1 for Tuesday, 1 for Wednesday and 1 for Thursday) The days are written on the sheets.  Our tricky word for this week is 'all'. Buddy has been having great fun. He has gone home with a different boy or girl from the class every night to revise the values we have been learning about in school; responsibility, respect, courage, honesty, gratitude and love.

Hi Everyone,  This week is International Week.  We are learning all about Australia.  On Wednesday please try to dress in the colours of the Australian flag; blue, red and white.  We did a Drumming Workshop this morning. It was great fun! Becky :-)

Since September in Learn Together we have been learning all about values and morals. The values we have been learning about are; Respect, Responsibility, Courage,   Honesty, Gratitude, Love. Each night the children will get a chance to bring Buddy home with them to practice these values at home. Respect You can show Buddy respect by taking care of him and making sure he does not get damaged. Responsibility You will be responsible for Buddy and will have to make sure he goes home and comes back into school the next day. Courage If you have any worries or fears, you can share them with Buddy, he is a great listener. Honesty You and Buddy can tell your family what it means to be honest. Gratitude You can tell Buddy 3 things you are grateful for that day. Love You can show Buddy lots of love and care when he is in your home. You can also send in some pictures to Becky for the blog if you get a chance!
